If you use Google Offers, Groupon, or any other coupon service, you probably get around a thousand emails a day. And. if this sounds like you, Google may have just created an app the will stop your email blues. If you have an Android device that is running 2.1+, you can head to the Android Market and download the Google Offers app.

The app features a very user friendly user interface and displays your Offers in a very convenient way, and enables you to see them by the following: Purchased, Saved, and Used and Expired. In addition, you can redeem any of your purchased coupons from your device. But wait, are you thinking that you need NFC capabilities to use this? Nope! Although that would be cool, you can just show someone at the store your phone and they will take care of it. NFC will probably be coming soon in conjunction with the app.

To get a little more background, Google Offers has the same idea as Groupon, wherein you can buy coupons that will get you more than you paid for at the store you bought the coupon for. For example, currently, Google Offers is “offering” $15 for $25 to spend on outdoor gear at REI. It’s basically a service that leverages the power of group buying, and enables people to get additional savings. Google Offers is still pretty new and is available in plenty of big US cities which you can see above. For more info, check it out here in addition to signing up to find out when Google Offers will be available in your area. Just click the drop-down menu next to the Google Offers logo.

Would you ever consider using Google Offers?
