If you’re one of the lucky few who managed to order to Nexus 4 when it briefly returned to Google Play in Canada on December 3, you may have been told to wait 6-7 weeks for the handset to arrive. Defying all odds, it looks like Google is able to move up the delivery date.
As reported by the folks at Mobile Syrup, shipping notifications have been sent out to Canadian customers who purchased the Nexus 4 back in December, with many confirming that they have received the flagship phone early.
In case you’re wondering, the Nexus 4 is still listed as “Sold out” in the Play Store, as is the Nexus 10 slate. Planning to do something about it soon, Google?
It’s worth checking your inbox for the shipment notification e-mail from the Nexus maker. Let us know if you have some good news to share by leaving your comments below.

Ordered mine on the 5th of December from the German Play Store. It shipped on the 4th of January and got delivered today.
i got the phone few days ago and i dont see anything so special about it.
Some people just can’t appreciate what they’ve got. The Nexus 4 is essentially a Galaxy S III at half the price.
do you have any idea about when it will come to India?
I ordered mine on the 3rd with a 3-4 week wait time… im in Toronto and ive gotten absoloutely no contact from google… it’s been 5 and a half weeks already
thats bad, i bet people who ordered after you have seen some progress
It’s all about the UK.
WHERES MY PHONE GOOGLE
Can you please run a article regarding the Google order processing. I have been hearing since the 4th December that Google is shipping devices randomly, so people who ordered on the 8th have received there devices while people who ordered on the 4th are still waiting……such a mess up.
That is in uk..,,
We are out of inventory. Please check back soon.
