It’s that time of year again — registration for Google I/O 2016 is now open! Google will be accepting applications until Thursday, March 10 at 5:00PM PST/8:00PM EST.

There’s no need to rush, though. Like in years past, Google isn’t making this year’s registration a first come, first serve affair. The order in which applications are accepted has no bearing on who gets in and who doesn’t. It’s a lottery of sorts, and Google will choose applicants at random. If your application is selected, you’ll receive a confirmation email telling you what to do next. To fill out the application, head to the link attached at the bottom of this post and sign in with your Google account.

Tickets cost $900 for general admission, and academic admission tickets cost $300. You can only purchase one ticket if your name gets selected, and you can request a refund until April 29th if your plans happen to change.
