Have a lot of different files stored on your Google Drive? Finding files in a hurry is about to get a whole lot easier, thanks to the addition of file previews that automatically show up when you open videos, PDFs and photos.

Outside of the formats that automatically show up, the preview system also works for Google documents and several other types of files by right-clicking on the file name and manually selecting “preview”.

Once in the preview window you will find that you can print the files, zoom in, select and copy text, share and download all within this convenient windows. You can even watch videos directly from the preview window or can quickly browse through files by clicking on the right and left arrows on the screen.

While some Drive users are already finding that the feature is present, it will take a few days for the preview option to roll out to all users. For those that have had a chance to try it out, what do you think?
