Ah yes, you’ve all been waiting for this, I’m sure. Google has launched a beta test of its new Adsense advertising system for Android and iPhone. This will allow app developers to place Adsense advertisiements into their applications that will earn them money when users click on them.
I can hardly wait to see ads popping up in my favorite applications! *cough* Ahem.
It appears that ads will be targeted by keyword, location, and user demographics. Pretty much like the regular online ads do in web browsers. Fierce Mobile Content reports that advertisers will even be able to bid for specific ad placements in specific applications.
Developers who would like to participate in the program can sign up here.
