Google’s software engineer team have been hard at work of late, and another post from the Google mobile blog reveals the latest addition to the Google Maps application on your Android phone. Say hello to…
Just in time for the holiday shopping season, Google has announced that it has added the same voice-guided, turn-by-turn navigation capability as possessed by Android 2.0 to its Android 1.6 platform.
The new navigation-capable version of Maps is available in the United States through the Android Market.
T-Mobile’s G1 and myTouch 3G currently run the Android 1.6 operating system and can therefore run the new Google Maps Navigation app.
