Back in March, Google made the decision to make the resizeable pop-up Compose interface the default for everyone. Now a new option allows users to bring it back to the Compose of old. Sort of.
In a post on the Gmail Google+ page earlier today, Google announced a new full-screen option. The post states:
When this option is enabled, the compose window is centered in your inbox and expands to fit on your screen. In addition, the formatting toolbar is on by default. You can click on the expand button in the top right to switch to full-screen or set full-screen as the default by selecting Default to full-screen in the more options menu in the bottom right.
At the time of this writing nobody we have spoken to has the new Compose interface yet. It shouldn’t be too long, though, as the Google+ post said that the option would be rolling out over the next few days.

I’m hoping this will be out by the 24th. Nice to see this make a return.
I have done as instructed & have my compose set in centre screen :)
