If you’ve always wanted to create your own Gif image, here’s your chance to do so—right from your Android device. With GifBoom, you can now create your own animated Gif and upload it to your Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or Reddit account.

If you don’t know what a Gif is, it’s a short animation—not exactly pictures and not even close to a video. They also don’t require a lot of megabytes. But they’re pretty funny!

With the app installed on your device, all you have to do is to start recording the scene you would wish to turn into a Gif file. The app will take a series of shots on the subject you have chosen. Afterwards, you can choose the shots you want to include in your Gif. Once the file has been created, you can start sharing it with your GifBoom account.

The good thing about the app is that it’s free! You can look for other Gifs created by clicking here.
