Well known tech journalist Gary Krakow of MSNBC and TheStreet.com has said that he has been informed by a “source familiar with the situation” that Google’s Gphone will not be launched until some time in 2009.

We thought the Google branded Gphone concept died when Android was announced, but perhaps that is not the case. Other members of the Open Handset Alliance will be building devices, so why not Google, I guess.
