Garmin-ASUS nuvifone A50

I just spent a bit of time with the brand new Garmin-ASUS nuvifone A50 (specs here), the company’s first Android-powered smartphone.  I’ve posted the photos and video, along with some of my thoughts, on MobileBurn.com – but you can see the video and a few photos right here.

But do click through for the Garmin-ASUS nuvifone A50 story on MobileBurn for the full gallery and notes.

Garmin does a lot more than just consumer portable GPS devices. I’d venture to say that it is considerably less than 50% of their total revenue. Everyone in the aviation industry knows them as the defacto standard for avionics. Unfortunately, Wall Street doesn’t know any better. Garmin is not going away any time soon.
