The Galaxy S4 is more and more present in rumors and reports and we’re not surprised to see that the handset is already staring in its first hands-on video without being even made official yet.

Today we’re looking at an almost two-minute video that presents us the “most thinnest” Galaxy S version to date, and offers us a sneak peak of the new features the handset could bring us next year.

Again, nothing is official, and this is obviously a mix of speculation with a pinch of existing rumors, so take everything with a pinch of salt.

According to Rozetked, here’s what the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) could be all about next year:

  • “ultraslim, lightest, powerful”
  • 1080p Grand AMOLED Display
  • 13-megapixel camera
  • 2.0GHz 4 Quad processor
  • Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie
  • “the most thinnest one, much thinner than Galaxy S3 & iPhone 5”
  • “projection Laser keyboard dock included”

Interestingly, the video ends with this following text:

Samsung Galaxy S4 is build [sic] of the leaked drafts. Thanks Taemin Lee

Do the authors of the video know anything we don’t?

Getting back to that specs list, we’ll note that laser keyboard looks nice, at least in the video, but it may be a while until we see one in a smartphone dock. Not to mention that it’s highly unlikely to see the Galaxy S4 come out running Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie right out of the box. Instead, it will probably have Android 4.2.x preinstalled.

But this is just a mockup hands-on, so we’ll be back with more details once we have them – at least the music is perfectly suited to this particular time of year.

What would you like to see in your future Galaxy S4?

Thanks, Max!

everyone has to have the projection keyboard I mean the last 3 iphones were supposed to have that and the same with the s3 was supposed to have this too. Who cares about the projection keyboard? lol

    • HARLEM HEFNER

the laser keyboard is out i saw it on think geek.com

      • http://twitter.com/kspraydad KSPRAYDAD

Laser keyboards were out with Palm 10 years ago…useless then…useless now.

Um… yeah, but they actually sell them no. “lol” troll

It’s ugly. I don’t want the middle button.

    • Mitchel

I find it beautiful. Most non-tech geek users will prefer physical home button anyday.

      • MasterMuffin

Me too, who the duck is so stupid that dislikes your comment about your personal opinion that many agreee with? -.-

  • Dude

I’ll probably skip the S4 for the iP4.

    • MalikDepthside

huh? the iPhone 5 is out now.. where have you been? I love my Galaxy SII

    • MasterMuffin

      Stupid troll fail…

Fake, see 0:39, his left hand between the fingers he is holding the phone with you will see the distortion from the 3d model.

wow you don’t read do you?

    • HD

the title says “render” for a reason, you know..

    • Fred Fudpucker

      High School graduate no doubt…

    • MalikDepthside

thats why this is called a “mockup”

This comment is FAKE…at :30 I can see the gap between your cerebral cortex and the rest of your body. I’ll ring the medics for ya.

  • Alu Zeros

projection keyboard nice feature, as for it built into a dock nice for a desk, but for me personally i just can’t see myself carrying a dock around just to have a projection keyboard

  • Jcp007

Hope that they keep the removable battery door for the battery, SIM card and micro sdxc card up to 64 GB.

It don’t need to be this thin. It can get fatter and increase the battery, and still be a elegant phone. This mockup is anorexic!

And I hope that the true SIV don’t have the front buttons. I prefer the virtual buttons of the Nexus line… But I Know that many people prefer the fisical buttons of the Galaxy S series and it will probably stay.

    • Javon

I hope they implement the Soft keys too because with my nexus just lying there it looks amazing. There are no hardware buttons to obstruct the front of the device

    Video rendering is excellent……

  • StanSitwell

Ubuntu Phone would be nice. A 2.0 GHz quad core processor should be able to run Ubuntu.

  • Razgriz

Very nice idea about Projection Keyboard! that would help me a lot in my line of work these days! Here’s hoping…

    Samsung……..galaxy s4..

  • MalikDepthside

personally, i’d like to see thicker, back to the SII or thicker, and what happened to samsung’s “flexible” phones.. guess this expensive and extreemly fragil thing is still all we have to look foward to in new phones for yet another year

  • peter leech

Forgot the laser keyboard, keep going forward with the pixels on the camera

  • marlotech

as long the price is cheap than the other, it will be sold for sure.

  • JFjejd

I like the home button. And there’s a high chance it would stay, so if you guys don’t like it, there are other phones out there.

  • Noah

Exactly what’s the point of this animation? Just someone with too much time on their hand who’s dreaming about their wishes for the next Samsung phone? Come on, guys.

It’s just noise, not worth the post.

  • xmRipper

I hate those renders, zero screen margin is UGLY … Am I the only one that thinks there must be a little space between screen and the sides of the devices.

    • MalikDepthside

thats why I liked Polaroids when I was a kid, cause you could hold em and throw em around without worry of damaging the edge of the picture.. frames just plain look good too. they also leave room for cases built to take some pounding without them ending up covering half a centimeter of your screen

  • Samsung Fan.

It should be docked horizontal. In the illustration the fonts looks too small

  • Tom S

I had to laugh…. “most thinnest one, much thinner than Galaxy S3 or iPhone 5″. I really doubt Samsung would use copy like that.

    • http://twitter.com/kspraydad KSPRAYDAD

Why on earth do you think Samsung has anything to do with this vid?

  • Michael Lee

Why is he playing The First Noel on a phone video?

  • Misty Baez

    I hope the rumers r tru… I am sav’n my moola 2 get the S4….

  • Chris Harpner

I’m more impressed with the 3D graphics effects of the video maker than the speculation in the video. Can’t wait to see some real specs though.

the “theoretical” specs seem impressive, curious to get my hands on the real thing and see how it performs. i’ve also heard a mini version may be coming out in April/May, is that true? how do you mini-fy an ultrathin phone?
