The Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone will be available initially in two color options only but Canadian carrier Telus revealed in its press release that additional color options for the handset will arrive “later this year.”
The Galaxy S4 can be pre-ordered in Canada from various carriers including Bell, Rogers, Telus, Videotron and Virgin, but, like in other markets where the device is available for pre-order, early buyers can only choose from two color flavors: Black Mist and White Frost.
Those of you not happy to buy either a black or white Galaxy S4 version should know certainly keep tabs on Telus, as the carrier may offer the handset in additional colors later down the road. From the press release:

Similarly, the Galaxy S3 was available in only two color versions at launch, Pebble Blue and Marble White, but Samsung launched the handset in additional color options including Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titanium Grey a few months later. Recently, an Amethyst Purple Galaxy S3 version was introduced by Sprint in the U.S. Other Samsung Galaxy smartphones including the Galaxy Note 2 are also available in some of these color options.
Telus did mention additional color options in its press materials, so we’re still going to have to wait for Samsung to properly announce them. It will be interesting to see whether Samsung will keep the color names in place, considering that it moved from Marble White and Sapphire Black for the Galaxy S3 to White Frost and Black Mist for the Galaxy S4, or whether it will come up with new custom colors for the handset.
