If you are with the dark side of the Android force, here's a treat that XDA Developer member jovy23 has prepared for you — the Darthstalker ROM based on the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean firmware build UVDLJA and which comes with a Darth Vader-inspired wallpaper.

The ROM is also packed with a long list of exquisite features for a much-improved Android experience on your T-Mobile Galaxy S3 SGH-T999. It's rooted, zipaligned, and deodexed; has init.d support; includes performance and battery enhancements, as well as enhancements on 3G/4G/Wi-Fi speed and signal; has Galaxy Note II Polaris Office 4.0 and Paper Artist apps; and many more features. This guide shows you how to flash Darthstalker ROM for the Galaxy S3 T999.

Installing via ClockworkMod Recovery

  1. Download and copy JOVY_TW_S3_DARTH_STALKER_V7.zipto the internal SD card of your phone.
  2. Turn your phone off.
  3. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery Mode by holding the Volume Up, Power, and the Home button.
  4. Create a NANDroid Backup. Go to Backup and Restore > Backup.
  5. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset > Yes.
  6. Select Wipe Cache Partition > Yes.
  7. Select Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache > Yes.
  8. Select Mounts and Storage > Format /System > Yes.
  9. Select Install ZIP from SD Card > Choose ZIP from SD Card > Locate and select JOVY_TW_S3_DARTH_STALKER_V6.zip.
  10. Select Wipe Cache Partition > Yes.
  11. Select Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache > Yes.
  12. Select Go Back > Reboot System Now > Yes.
  13. The first boot would take long, so wait until your phone has completely booted up.  Once you're at the Setup Wizard screen, let your phone sit for 5 minutes before rebooting.

Installing via TWRP Recovery

  1. Download and copy JOVY_TW_S3_DARTH_STALKER_V7.zipto the internal SD card of your phone.
  2. Turn your phone off.
  3. Boot into TWRP Recovery by pressing the Volume Up, Home, and Power buttons together until you see the Samsung Galaxy S III text displayed on the screen.
  4. Backup your existing ROM first. Select Backup and create your backup from here.
  5. Once the backup procedure is successful, do a full wipe:
    • Select Wipe > Factory Reset
    • Select Wipe > Cache
    • Select Wipe > Dalvik Cache
    • Select Wipe > System
  6. On the main menu, select Install from the main menu.
  7. Locate and select JOVY_TW_S3_DARTH_STALKER_V7.zip and flash it to your phone.
  8. Re-wipe the data on the cache and Dalvik cache
  9. Select Reboot System.
  10. The first boot may take long, so wait until your phone has completely booted up. Once you're at the Setup Wizard screen, let your phone sit for about 5 minutes before rebooting.

    i did everything follow instruction but when reboot to Samsung Galaxy S3, I’s wait an hour and nothing happen, can anyone tell me what happen and how fix it. I tried many ROM but i has same problem
