Thanks to our favorite place on the whole Internet, the XDA Developers Forum, Android enthusiasts don’t have to settle for just one flavor of Jelly Bean. Take a stroll through Android Authority and you’ll see…

Over the course of development, ROMs develop identities of their own. CyanogenMod, identifiable by the color cyan, can easily be associated with customizability. But, if you think that's the only ROM out there that can give you that ability, you'll need to climb out from under your rock.
If you're craving for excellent performance and a touch of orange in your life, you'll want a MIUI ROM. Developed by XDA Developers member gh.rohit, the MIUI-India ROM packs the same clean icons characteristic of MIUI with a lot of improvements and performance enhancements, such as tweaks to remove lags and a boost in battery life.
Currently at version 1, the MIUI-India custom ROM is based on MIUI.us 2.10.12 and has a few goodies thrown in, such as the Siyah 1.1 kernel and Gmail v4.2. The dev also added some new tweaks for smoothness, battery life, and RAM management, as well as increased touchscreen sensitivity. You can also expect smoother scrolling thanks to some extra tweaks, nips and tucks. Volume for notifications, ringtones and speaker have also been increased. MIUI Extended Settings, DSP Manager and a JB Remix Theme have been added to the kitchen for you to check out.
This guide shows you how to flash the MIUI-India ROM for the Galaxy S3 I9300.
Great job! You're now running MIUI-India custom ROM on your Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300. Enjoy the beauty and improved performance of the ROM.
