This guide shows you how to flash Blackbean ROM for the Galaxy S3 I535.

Requirements

• Verizon Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 with ClockworkMod Recovery installed.
  • Here's a guide on how to flash ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.1.2 for the Galaxy S3 I535.
• Download the following to your computer:
  • Blackbean ROM (baked_d2vzw_blackbean-6.zip, md5sum: 7610b0d7521f8582dd9c5c37daa9d48d)

• Make sure your phone's battery still has at least 70% power. You don't want the device to shut down in the middle of the procedure.
• Backup all personal data on your phone to make sure you have a copy of your personal data (e.g., contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide erases such data.

Instructions

1. Copy the baked_d2vzw_blackbean-6.zip and gappsinverted-jb-20121029-signed.zipfiles to your phone's internal SD card.
2. Turn off your phone.
3. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery Mode by holding the Volume Up, Power, and Home buttons.
4. Create a NANDroid Backup. Go to Backup and Restore > Backup.
5. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset > Yes.
6. Select Wipe Cache > Yes.
7. Select Advanced >Wipe Dalvik Cache.
8. Select Mounts and Storage > Format /system.
9. Select Install ZIP from SD card > Choose ZIP from SD card > locate and select baked_d2vzw_blackbean-6.zip.
10. After the ROM is flashed, repeat step 9 but this time select gappsinverted-jb-20121029-signed.zip.
11. Select Go Back > Reboot System Now to reboot your phone.
