Galaxy-S2-Jelly-Bean

Galaxy S2 owners have been waiting for months now for the official Jelly Bean update, with various reports and unofficial firmware leaks hinting that the release was near.

However, 2012 passed by and the 2011 flagship smartphone was not updated to Android 4.1.2. We have recently told you that the international phone version has received its Jelly Bean update, and now it looks like Samsung is starting the Jelly Bean push in South Korean as well.

If you happen to own the SHW-M250L Galaxy S2 version then you should be able to upgrade its OS, as Jelly Bean could be waiting for you. Sam Mobile reminds us that Samsung KIES is the only way of updating the device, so you’ll have to hook the device up to your computer and fire up KIES to move to Android 4.1.2, as an over-the-air (OTA) isn't available.

As for North American Galaxy S2 versions, we still don’t have any Jelly Bean details for you at this time.
