Maybe update the requirements to specify the operating system required on the computer… I mean, can I do this with a Mac, Linux, TRS-80?

      Hell0,

I’m using sgs i9000 xxjvu. I’m using a custom rom from Team NYX. Its ics 4.0.4. Should I try your method to revert to Gingerbread? Please reply.

Ok.. worth noting, the process fails if you dont run ODIN as an Admin! i restarted it as an Admin (win 7 – right click run as administrator) and the process works..
