If leaks keep coming hard and fast, there won’t be much new stuff about the Galaxy Note 8 for Samsung to show off at MWC. Just yesterday, we were treated with a handful of images of the stylus-equipped device captured in the wild, and now we have two more, courtesy of French tech blog Frandroid.
The two images shed light on one aspect that the previous leaks haven’t touched – the S Pen stylus. At first sight, the Galaxy Note 8 S Pen seems similar to the stylus that comes on the Galaxy Note 10.1, although we can’t guarantee the two devices are identical.
In one of the two leaked images, we can see how the Note 8 looks side by side a Galaxy Note 2. There’s a 2.5-inch difference between the displays of the two devices.
According to the latest set of leaked specifications, the Galaxy Note 2 will feature an 8-inch LCD display of 1280 x 800 resolution, 2GB of RAM, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz, and 3G connectivity. It’s widely believed that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with Android 4.2 on board. Given Samsung’s recent focus on adding new features to TouchWiz UI (including the brand new Eye Pause and Eye Scroll), it’s possible that we’ll see an updated Premium Suite as well.
JK Shin, Samsung Mobile’s head honcho, has confirmed that the new 8-inch Note tablet will make an appearance at MWC, in late February.

Dat ass S Pen
The bezel is comically large in this day and age.
Samsung was very smart removing the navbar softkeys. The navbar sometimes
cause trouble when using s pen. Congratulations Samsung and R.I.P. traditional
“According to the latest set of leaked specifications, the Galaxy Note 2 will feature an 8-inch LCD display of 1280 x 800 resolution…” That should be “the Galaxy Note 8 :)

ON A ROLL!!! go sammy! but no more 720p lol, I’ll let you slide this time.
It looks really nice.. Note 2 but with an iPad Mini size.. I’m liking everything but the screen resolution and the SoC.. Other than that.. I might consider buying one if the price is okay..
Looks like the Note 8 needs to lay off all these Android Desserts. That bezel is looking pretty clunky.
So at 8″ can it still be considered a phablet? Im genuinely curious as to how many people will use this device as a traditional phone. You know, like this:
