The Galaxy Note 3 product name has already been found in the Samsung SideSync app online documentation, with a few weeks ahead of its official announcement.
The fact that a third-gen Galaxy Note 3 is coming this fall is hardly a secret anymore, and it’s not like we don’t know the device’s commercial name – the support documents list “Galaxy Note III” as its official product name. However, the fact that Samsung already officially acknowledges it in app documentation suggests that the device could be soon launched.
Samsung has scheduled a September 4 media event – a few days before the IFA German trade show kicks off – with the Galaxy Note 3 most likely being the star of the show. However, launch dates for the device are not yet available.
Introduced a few months ago, the SideSync app lets users share the “screen, windows and data” between Samsung Android devices and Samsung Windows 8 PCs.
From the looks of it, the Galaxy Note 3 may come with SideSync already preloaded – the online SideSync installation guide for PC mentions the Galaxy Note 3 quite a few times, suggesting that some of the described steps are not necessary for the Galaxy Note 3 (see Source link below for more details), including installing the phone app in order for SideSync to work.
Are you buying the Galaxy Note 3 first chance you get, or are you waiting for other smartphones to launch this fall?
