A new report from South Korea says that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone and the Gear smartwatch at a special media event that will take place on September 4 in Berlin, Germany.

The date is consistent with what we’ve heard before. It makes sense to see the Galaxy Note 3 arrive at IFA 2013 – or a couple of days before the show kicks off – as that’s where its predecessor were also announced in previous years.

As for the Gear smartwatch, more and more evidence suggests that Samsung will have its own smart wearable in the wild soon.

While details on said smartwatch are not mentioned, says that the Galaxy Note 3 will sport a 5.7-inch AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM and the new Exynos 5 Octa processor (at least some models).

In addition, past reports have suggested that the handset will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (at least some models), 13-megapixel camera and Android 4.3 right out of the box.

Samsung is rumored to have a variety of Galaxy Note 3 models in testing, with screen sizes from 5.7 to 6.0 inches.

Today’s report is based on unnamed “industry sources,” so we’ll remind you that nothing is official just yet. We’ll keep tracking Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung smartwatch rumors for you in the weeks to come.

I’m hoping for 5.9 inch 1080p screen. I don’t care which proceser is in it. I just want the big screen for my movie watching.

What makes you not want the Xperia Z Ultra ?

Cause it probably won’t be coming to Verizon. I would definitely consider the Xperia z if it did come to Verizon though.

Go for a bigger screen like 10.1……6″ is quite small

  • EvenInTheDarkestHour

5.7/5.9/5.99″ no doubt either will look great, I just hope the device dimensions don’t increase, it’s big enough now. 1080p super lcd might be a nice change, although I do like the Super AMOLED. 3 gb ram and an improved camera will be sweet. Exynos 5 Octa or S800, both have strong upsides. Bring the beast!

Oh, a little bit more solidly built frame would be a nice bonus…I don’t like that my phone creeks and groans more than me. Just my opinion…

I love my LG Optimus G Pro Phone. Simplicity with a large beautiful full 1080P Screen and an awesome price. Can’t be beat!!!!

  • Le DAS du Galaxy S4 est faible ou la puce réseau n’est pas assez performante, mais tu n’es pas le premier à te plaindre de signal réseau faible avec un Galaxy S4.
