Requirements
- Samsung Galaxy Nexus GT-I9250
- A Windows PC
- Android Software Development Kit installed and Android Debug Bridge setup on your computer.
- Download the Galaxy Nexus GSM Unroot to Stock 4.1.2 package (Galaxy Nexus GSM Unroot.Stock 4.1.2 Windows.zip, md5sum: c740771a4def5b4e6aff1404c49e151e)
- Make sure your device's battery still has at least 70% power. You don't want the device to shut down in the middle of the procedure.
- Backup all personal data on your phone to make sure you have a copy of your personal data (e.g., contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide erases such data.
Instructions
- Extract the Galaxy Nexus GSM Unroot.Stock 4.1.2 Windows.zip file and save the files in the same folder as your Fastboot files.
- For example: C:\Windows\Program Files\Android SDK\Platform Tools
- Turn your phone off.
- Boot your phone into Fastboot Mode by holding down the Volume Up, Volume Down, and Power buttons until your phone's screen turns on.
- Connect your phone to the computer via USB cable.
- On your computer, open a command prompt with Administrator's privileges.
- At the command prompt, navigate to the directory or folder where your Fastboot binary and extracted ZIP files have been saved.
- Check if your computer recognizes your phone. Your phone's serial number should appear on the command prompt window after you enter the following command:
