The Samsung GT-I9250 has been a hot item in the news lately, chiefly because it is almost everyone’s primary suspect for the upcoming Google reference phone, the official name of which has not yet been…
Surprisingly, accessories for Galaxy Nexus made it to Verizon’s stores before the Galaxy Nexus did. Reports from the field say first batches of Galaxy Nexus accessories have reached Verizon stores, and they have been photographed as proof of their arrival.
A Droid Life tipster, presumably one with access to a Verizon store, sent in a photo of the accessories that arrived. The batch of accessories included the Galaxy Nexus shell/holster combo casings (with kickstand) and silicone covers.
Verizon has kept mum about the exact date of the Galaxy Nexus release date, however there have been speculations that the handset will be released on November 17or November 21. Speculations about when exactly would Verizon launch the Nexus is, up to this day, still mere speculation.
Android enthusiasts have been holding their breaths for the exact date of the Galaxy Nexus’ arrival in Verizon stores. Everyone seems to be in a hurry to grab the first-ever smartphone to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Galaxy Nexus might be a no-show this week since Verizon seems to have reserved the limelight this week for the Motorola DROID RAZR.
There are also rumors that Samsung might sell the Galaxy Nexus exclusively on the Web. We are keeping our hopes up that, since accessories have already been spotted in stores, the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Nexus could not be far behind.
Have you been waiting for the Galaxy Nexus, too? Or, are you considering another powerful smartphone such as the DROID RAZR?
