How to flash HoneyCream ROM for the Galaxy Ace S5830

The HoneyCream ROM is packed with awesome and comes with a battery extender kernel, 10 lockscreen styles, a 4-way boot, MegaBass Beats, CRT on/off animation, Volume Increase notification, and more. This ROM has been zipaligned and rooted and is based on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. Enjoy the smoothness in scrolling up and down your apps and get more cool customizations from this ported ROM.

Requirements

A rooted Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 running on Android 2.3 or higher with ClockworkMod Recovery installed.

Download the HoneyCream ROM (HC_1.2.zip, 122.23 MB)
Make sure your device's battery still has at least 70% power. You don't want the device to shut down in the middle of the procedure.
Backup all personal data on your phone to make sure you have a copy of your personal data (e.g., contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide erases such data.

Instructions

Copy the HoneyCream ROM ZIP file to your phone's SD card.
Turn your phone off.
Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery. To do this, press and hold down the Power and Home buttons until the screen turns on.
- In Recovery, use the Volume Keys to navigate and the Home button to select an option.
Create a NANDroid Backup. Go to Backup and Restore > Backup.
Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset > Yes.
Select Wipe Cache Partition > Yes.
Select Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache > Yes.
Select Install ZIP from SD Card > Choose ZIP from SD Card.
Locate and select the HoneyCream ROM file and confirm that you want to install the file.
Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset > Yes.
Select Wipe Cache Partition > Yes.
Select Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache > Yes.
Go back to the main menu and select Reboot System Now.
Let your phone boot and allow it to sit for about 5 minutes.
Reboot your phone.
