Google on Wednesday kicked off its 2012 Google I/O edition and from the first day it announced some major new products including Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the Google Nexus 7 tablet and the Google Nexus Q social streaming media player.

Just like in previous years, Google is not disappointing Google I/O attendees when it comes to rewarding them for their participation. This year the SWAG package focuses on Android, as it includes three gadgets, the new Nexus 7 and Nexus Q and the six-month old Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Android Community points out that the three devices are worth almost $850, or $50 more than what developers paid to get it.

We’ll be back with more Google I/O coverage, so don’t go anywhere as we further explore the novelties coming from Google’s developer conference.
