Last December, Samsung decided to play Santa for its loyal customers in the U.S. by handing out free flip covers and programmable TecTiles (NFC-enabled stickers) — as well as 50% off coupons to purchase official accessories — to Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 owners who register their devices.
If you missed the boat on that one, it looks like you’ll get a second chance to score those freebies. As reported by Phandroid, Samsung has sent out e-mails to registered users — who were left out from the first phase — about the extension of the promo.
We’re not sure that the offer applies to those who haven’t registered yet, but feel free to give it a shot right here. You will want to have the device’s IMEI or HEX # ready to complete the registration. We have to remind you that the giveaway is meant only for U.S. customers, so those outside the country will have to sit this one out.
Registered customers may want to check their inbox to see if there’s a surprise waiting from Sammy. Don’t forget to drop a comment below if you’ve received some good news.

I registered in dec but they were out. Then on 1/22, I got an email saying they extended it, but the link didn’t work. It sent me to a site with a message to call Sammy. After I spoke to someone, I got another email with a working link. Now its just 4-6 weeks(hopefully) till I get the free stuff.
What’s the number?
I registered in December. I was told I would receive an e-mail and I never got one. I was on the phone with three different people for Samsung. Two of them told me to call back the next day. I finally gave up after the third guy guy. He told me he would tell his supervisor to call me to remedy the situation. That never happened.
To this day I still have not received an e-mail.
If they didn’t require FaceButt to register they would have gotten a lot more registrations the first round.
again no go only gave 50% off crap
Only 50% Off Crap
I contacted Samsung about not receiving the offer and the rep i spoke with said i had to do it through Verizon. I cannot stand calling their support line. They offer no support at all!! So then I emailed them. They told me I had to register in the response. I already have!! So I responded with another email to state just that. Waiting to hear back yet again. What is “Sammy’s” number. A lot of us that are having no luck with support would like to call Sammy.
I got the original email awhile back but by the time I claimed it they said they were out. Yesterday I got another email which didn’t work, but they sent another one a few hours later and I was able to claim the deal.
