Flipping Legend will jump, kick, and fight its way to Android on June 14

While there are a ton of cookie cutter games that all seem to look and play exactly the same, there are a number of titles from indie developers that try to take risks, both in gameplay and in visuals. It looks like one of those games is coming soon as developer Hiding Spot Games and publisher Noodlecake will officially release Flipping Legend on June 14 for Android and iOS.

The game focuses on both speed and skill as your character tries to flip, jump, kick, and fight his way on a three-square panel grid to defeat enemies and collect loot. However, players also have to keep an eye out on traps and other dangers as they move through the grid. As you can see from the trailer above, Flipping Legend has a retro blocky graphics style that would have looked right at home on a Super NES console.

Flipping Legend will have eight different characters to unlock, each of which will have special skills and abilities. It will also have some cool music to listen to as you battle your way across the grid. While the game will be free to play, there will be in-game purchases for unlocking extra content, as well as for removing ads. The game will also have special daily challenges to complete.
