Daydream is one of the many features that Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes with, one that lets your device display pretty pictures and colors, BeanFlinger, and news from Google Currents while it’s being charged or docked. If you’re a fan of the screensaver feature, you’ll be happy to hear that you can now take Flipboard to go Daydreaming with you.
The latest version of Flipboard supports Android 4.2 Daydream feature. Once installed, you’ll get a new option on Daydream to show your Flipboard covers. Since they will be only displaying headlines, you can simply tap on the cover to go straight to the app.
The update should also put a stop to those frequent accidental page flips when what you’re actually trying to do is scroll up or down, a problem that seems to affect those who run the newsreader app in tablet mode. As part of the update, there’s also the usual bug fixes.
It goes without saying that only Android 4.2 users will see the Daydream feature. Hit the Google Play link below to get the Flipboard update.

I saw the article and clipboard so I just downloaded it on my iPad 2(I’m using it now). It’s really laggy! Really smooth on my s3 but horrible lag on crapple products and takes ages to load.
flipboard* autocorrect on iPad sucks!
The update made my flipboard useless. Now every time I click on an article…any article, on any network or wifi, I get a blank screen with a dialogue box.
The dialogue box may be typed in, and the letters are received as a password (i.e. the letter turns into an asterisk upon typing the next letter).
It does this for every article.
It’s a shame b/c this was a good app while it worked.
