Eric Schmidt on CNBC This is hardly news, of course, but in case you were worried – Eric Schmidt, Google’s CEO, appeared on CNBC today and reiterated that Android would be ready by the end…
Earlier this month we tempted you with the news that Mozilla might release a full version of Firefox on Android, instead of a watered down version called Fennec. Indeed, back in January either version was said to be quite a few months away.
The good folks over at TechRadar had a chat with Mozilla’s VP of Mobile, Jay Sullivan, who said that a mobile version (probably still Fennec) will be available for Android ‘late this year’. Please note the use of ‘late’ and NOT ‘later’. From this we can glean that Firefox on Android probably will not be available until Q4 of this year, but as far as I am concerned Opera Mini will tie me over just fine until then.
