You might not have used a live wallpaper in quite some time. It seems like the community in general grew to acknowledge what terrific battery hogs they tend to be, but if you’re rocking a particularly large battery or have chargers everywhere you go, then maybe you’ve stuck with your koi pond or gently spinning galaxy from the beginning. Either way, you might want to take a look at Bethesda and NVIDIA’s Fallout 4 live wallpaper, because it’s pretty damn stylish.

The scene depicts a common sight to fans of the series. A ragged table littered with bottlecaps stands before a Nuka Cola machine (slyly stamped with the NVIDIA logo) and five bobblehead dolls perch in the foreground. If you’ve always felt more at home in your virtual wasteland hovel than in your real life abode, then now you can take your home on the go.

So what’s ‘live’ about it? The bobble heads, of course! Jiggling the screen will cause all the heads to wobble, and you can flick them with your fingertips to send them bobbing. In the settings, you can pick which five bobbleheads appear on your screen. There are 20 different models to choose from, but watch out for the Explosive bobble head doll!

Although this Fallout 4 wallpaper can run smoothly on a variety of devices, the developers recommend using the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 if you’ve got it since it can render dynamic shadows. What do you think of this wallpaper? Too much of a battery sink, or worth it for the aesthetic? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
