Though it has only been out of beta for a short time, Falcon Pro has quickly gained a reputation as one of the best Android Twitter apps available. With its 1.6 update, Falcon Pro hopes to maintain that reputation.

The star of the new update is Falcon Pro's redesigned user profile screen. To be honest, I don't see much of this screen during my use of Falcon Pro, but users who are constantly monitoring new followers and related information are likely to be more excited about it than I am.

Much more interesting to me is the new mute by keyword option. Essentially this allows you to block out conversations on any subject you wish. Whether this means filtering out subjects that make you uncomfortable or just turning off conversations you don't care about, this feature is sure to be a popular one.

While the two aforementioned features are getting the bulk of the attention, a peek at the changelog (linked in the sources section below) reveals more features than we can list in this article, including support for new image upload services, Flickr image previews, and improved autocomplete.

What do you think of the 1.6 update for Falcon Pro?

I mean, it’s not like Android controls a majority of the marketshare, or is super easy to code being open-source and all. Oh wait, it is those things. So Twitter just hires crappy devs?

Keep an eye on GrapeVideoApp. Currently our Beta allows creating and sharing Vine-style video animations but we’re quickly expanding.

“Do you think Vine will be a success on Android? Are you looking forward to it?” Yes and yes.

Honestly, I can’t wait for this to be released. Watching the videos on Twitter gets old fast, instead of having it all streamlined in one app.
