HTC has been rolling out its Eye Experience camera software suite to its flagship One M8 smartphones over the past few weeks and Canadian One M8’s are next on the update list.

HTC’s Mo Versi has taken to twitter to announce that Canadian carrier branded handsets from Rogers, TELUS and Bell are scheduled for an OTA update which will begin rolling out at 9am PST this morning. The update has already arrived for unlocked international handsets and a couple of US carrier branded M8’s.

The Eye Experience update contains new features for face detection and image stabilization during video chat, “live makeup”, and a split capture camera mode, among others. HTC’s extended smartphone range, including the One M7, Desire 816, Desire 820 and Butterfly 2, are also in-line for an Eye Experience update in the coming weeks and months.
