dropbox

It appears that the Dropbox team has made a special showing today to release a beta version of the app. Inside is what the team describes as:

  • better video playback
  • UI improvements
  • app compatibility with direct presentation of files

That last one may be a bit confusing, but all it really means is if you click on a file in Dropbox, the corresponding handler app on your device will open. Previously, this was not able to be done but some of you are cheering right now and I know why. Streaming media is now possible from Dropbox! And what better device to do it on than a Nexus 7!

Lastly, some bug fixes have also been impliemented and can be found in the APK or in the QR code below.
