Although everyone these days is talking about the Motorola X Phone, the Google-owned OEM is still preparing to pump out more Droids for their Verizon line up. We recently reported that Verizon will unveil the Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, and Droid Mini on July 23. The device specs have already been leaked but we’re still curious to find out where the RAZR name went.
The ever present hero of smartphone leaks, evleaks has reported that the Droid Ultra will also come in red. It will come alongside the black and white variants and, of course, have the same specs. Given that these are going to be released on Big Red, Verizon Wireless, it’s no surprise they decided to go with that color.
As the report goes, the entire back cover of the Droid Ultra will be painted red and if the screen shot above is any indication, will look really cool. The leaks linked above mention the Ultra will be packing a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM, and a 5-inch, 1080p display. Not too shabby and it definitely competes with every flagship device available today.
The official unveiling of these devices is coming next Tuesday, July 23. Will anyone be watching and, more importantly, is anyone excited about the new Droid line up?
