Finally it’s official, and this launch isn’t as weird nor did it have as many rumored launch dates as the Galaxy Nexus was, the Droid Razr Maxx is heading to Verizon this Thursday, January 26th for $299. This really thin LTE device with a big 3300 mAh battery beast is coming in less then 48 hours, who’s excited?
The Droid Razr Maxx has all the same specs as the original Droid Razr, except for a much larger battery that is said to last 24 hours. But we will be the judge of that. Even with an extended battery (basically extended battery since you can’t remove the battery) the device is still under 9mm thin. Now that is some awesome technology from Motorola.
Motorola also has the thinnest LTE device with a physical keyboard, although it is not out yet and launch date rumors either yet, the Droid 4. So who’s picking up the Droid Razr Maxx? Who’s anxious to see how long the battery truly lasts, even with LTE on all the time?
