Showcasing the Motorola Droid Maxx’s long battery life, Motorola and Verizon have begun promoting a brand new advertising campaign starring Edward Norton. The latest commercial presents itself in the format of an action movie and is complete with scenes of Norton being tied up, chased by dogs, attempting to emergency land a plane and much more.

The commercial itself is funny enough, but the real magic is that Motorola does an effective job of promoting core features found with the Droid line such as touchless control and the Maxx’s 48-hour battery life.

Verizon and Motorola haven’t been as actively advertising the Droid brand as of late, but it’s not too surprising to see them up their game a bit, given the fact that both HTC and Samsung recently released their own celebrity-starring campaigns.

What do you think of the latest Droid commercial? Like it or not?
