Motorola and Verizon have two new devices available in stores – the Droid MAXX and Droid Ultra. They’re available in Verizon brick-and-mortar stores today, but if you’d rather purchase online, orders begin shipping on August 27.
The Droid MAXX costs $299.99 on a new two-year contract while the Ultra costs a lower, $199.99 on a new two-year contract.
The Droid MAXX and Droid Ultra are Motorola’s flagship devices for Verizon. While they resemble previous renditions of Droid devices, the specs are similar to the Moto X’s, and if you’ve seen the Moto X, you know it’s a pretty powerful handset.
As a quick reminder, you can purchase the Droid Mini come Aug. 29.
Do you plan on picking up one of the new Droid devices or are you looking forward to the Moto X?

No micro SD, no sale. Stupid decision by Motorola.
