Droid 2 R2D2 edition in the wild

The Motorola Droid 2 R2D2 edition for Verizon is probably the coolest (ok geekiest) phone every to be created on a mass production line. I have to say, the pictures look pretty awesome. The Starwars, Empire Strikes Back special edition phone will become available in limited quantities and you can sign up for alerts at the official website here. To get you in the mood, IGN Gear have posted a number of ‘in the wild’ pictures of this Motorola device. Some have commented that the device has ‘too much going on’, but that’s on the back. The only people who see the back of the phone are those who are watching you using it, and wishing they were you. Enough said.
