Dolphin Browser
Dolphin Browser is one of the most powerful and popular web browsers out there and today it received a sizable update. Among the new stuff included is better Flash Player support, better full screen HTML5 videos, and the Dolphin Jetpack integration with Android 4.3 and 4.4.

Here is a quick list of all the features as per the Google Play Store.

  • Dolphin Jetpack 6.1.0 integration on Android 4.3 and 4.4 devices
  • Better flash playing experience; How to play flash in Dolphin
  • Better fullscreen experience for HTML5 videos
  • Auto-fit web content when pinch to zoom under desktop mode

By far the most important of which is the Jetpack 6.1 integration. For those who do not know, Dolphin Jetpack is an improved webkit that uses Dolphin’s HTML5 rendering engine to give you a better web experience. In other words, it makes HTML5 sites vastly more enjoyable to browser and use.

Along with the Jetpack integration, the update also provides better support for full screen HTML5 videos, improved Flash support, and improved text auto-fit on web pages. Chances are if you have Dolphin browser you’ve seen this update already. If you’re not a Dolphin user and want to check it out, you can find it in the Google Play Store here.

A random tip: if Dolphin isn’t working for you on some pages, turn the Jetpack off. It’s awesome and all, but doesn’t work with everything :)

Wonder if their text reflow/wrap is now working for 4.4 custom ROMs

Their latest update is absolutely abomination don’t take my word for it look at the crashing play store reviews. I also noticed my review change was reversed back to 5 star withought my consent.

I would love some input from others off here.. We I did the update 4.4.2.. Flashfox was destroyed.. Flash does not and will not work.. So I had done some research.. And xda took me to a gentleman that had a hacked adobe flash for dolphin.. And I did it.. It works.. But I’m not sure if it caused other issues or its because of 4.4.2.. I have a galaxy note III.. When I first did the update… Weeks later I began having the known issues.. Which were.. My gallery shut down.. Any time I wanted to use it by pressing the icon.. I would get a error message.. Saying gallery is not responding… And right after it would say the same thing.. But saying cloud agent.. I called tech.. They said do a factory reset… Did that… Phone seems to of fixed those issues.. But now… Amazon app store does not work… Will not open.. And I cannot download any pdf files off chrome.. Stock Internet.. Or dolphin… It will only work if I’m in the Flashfox browser… Anyone have any idea here what I can do.. It’s kinda annoying… Also.. I’m getting ads from a app I got.. But can’t seem to find it… Any time I download it update a app from the play store.. My list of Internet option Browsers comes up.. And I thought it was weird.. So I ignored it.. Finally decided to touch my choice of browser to complete the action… And it took me to a different appstore.. For sure.. A bs ad place.. Anyone else getting this?

What’s the difference between jetpack app and Dolphin browser with jetpack included?

Yep, their latest update is terrible. They’ve destroyed their own product.
