Dolphin Browser Beta: Version 1.2 with Android 4.2 support and new features

Dolphin Sonar Android Browser

Dolphin is undoubtedly one of the best browsers available for the Android platform today. It has got its own unique feel, features, and performance that make it a worthy competitor for big players like Google’s Chrome, Firefox, and Android’s stock browser. One of the many good things about Dolphin Browser Beta is that it gets updated with new features and performance upgrades more often than other browsers. The team behind Dolphin is dedicated and always looking to add new features for their users.

Recently Dolphin Browser Beta received an update that most importantly brings support for Android 4.2 which runs on latest Nexus devices including Nexus 4, Nexus 10, and Nexus 7. If you just bought a new Nexus device and have been waiting to replace your current browser with Dolphin, you are in luck.

Other than bringing support for Android 4.2 and Nexus devices, Dolphin’s latest update also brings improved sidebars that no longer interfere with page scrolling. The updated Dolphin Beta version 1.2 also brings better performance, an optimized address bar for tablets, improved compatibility for add-ons, faster page loading and a lot more.

Let us know if the Dolphin Browser Beta impresses you with its performance or what you think of the new features.

I like dolphin because of the best Java and HTML5 performance, they should team up with google and make an awesome Chrome Dolphin :)
