Our brain is the biggest muscle in our body. Like any muscle, it gets better with use. Of course, you can do it the normal way and study, but there’s more than one way to train the brain.
SPB Brain Evolution is a popular little app that has been available on Windows Mobile, iPhone, Maemo, Symbian, and Windows 7 for a while now, and it has finally arrived on the Android OS. “Brain training” games aren’t exactly a new thing, but it’s nice to see a comprehensive one like this baby on the platform.
So what exactly is SPB Brain Evolution? Well, like any brain training game, it is a set of intellectual mobile games that focuses on improving your brain’s memory, logic, arithmetic and puzzle-solving skills. So simple entertainment combined with brain training puzzles. The app has a suite of 12 mini-games that have to be played in sequence; you can’t play one until you’ve unlocked the one before it. It may sound simple but you’ll probably be locked in a level or two – this aren’t your normal everyday puzzles.
Their game has two modes. One is the Training mode, which helps to develop logic, memory, calculation, orientation and pattern skill. The second mode is Marking mode, which keeps track of your progress in the game.
SPB Brain Evolution is available for free on the Android Market, however you will only have access to 4 out of the 12 mini games and 1 round in the marking mode. A full version of the game is available with an in-app purchase of $2.99.
