Citing its favorite source, the Chinese language “Commercial Times”, DigiTimes is reporting that Sony Ericsson is thought to be offering its first Android device with European carrier Orange by the end of the year.
This oh-so-rumorous piece of information comes from “market sources” quoted by Commerical Times that claim to have seen internal Orange documents indicating a holiday season 2009 launch for the Sony Ericsson Android smartphone.
DigiTimes is known for putting out some of the lowest quality rumors in tech, though, so this is by no means fact. Especially considering that Sony Ericsson’s CEO indicated that the company’s first device won’t be here any time soon.
