Dell Aero

It seems that the new Dell Aero smartphone is available for purchase with or without an AT&T contract.  But before you get too excited, this little bugger runs atop of Android 1.5. That’s right, Cupcake.

Still interested? Well then, the Aero measures 11.6 x 121.92 x 57.9mm in size, features a 5 megapixel camera, a 3.5-inch 460×360 pixel display (roughly HVGA’ish), and a 624MHz processor.  There’s also support for microSD memory cards, with a 2GB card included.  Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS are also built-in.

It costs $99.99 with a contract, and only $299.99 without.  Full specs, and a couple more images, are available after the jump.

AT&T is the least customer oriented carrier in the US. I was with them for 8 years and got burned so bad that I will never give them my business again. Lucky for Verizon I suppose.

Hangouts video chat worked just fine on AT&T’s network from my Nexus 4 to my girlfriends One X. Neither of us were connected to Wi-Fi.

Glad i live in the netherlands, they can’t block anything here. It’s regulated by law, netneutrality. Actually we are the first country in the world with this ;-)

Us carriers are such retarded. Well not really in fact, they just over abuse of a bunch of stupid consumers (don’t deny it, average american is stupid. I’m not saying it’s not the same elsewhere at all though). Real consumers thus suffer of these things but are bounded within abusive clauses.
