In case you’re interested in getting a great deal on your next Android smartphone, you should check out Sprint’s latest promotion, which could help you save some extra cash when getting your next subsidized handset.
The carrier is willing to throw in a $100 American Express Reward Card with every on-contract smartphone purchase – yes, you'll have to agree to a new two-year contract to get the card. The offer is available from August 14 through August 26, with Sprint ready to waive off the $36 activation fee in the process.
While the carrier uses images of Android devices on its website to advertise the deal – including the Samsung Galaxy S3, the HTC EVO 4G LTE, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus – the offer can be taken advantage by iPhone buyers as well.
Once the smartphone purchase is complete, the card will be mailed automatically to the address on file, but you should know that your account must be in good standing for at least 30 days in order to receive the card. Once received, the card can be used at any U.S. merchant that accepts American Express Card.
