Even if you are not directly familiar with Madfinger Games, you may be familiar with some of their work. They are responsible for Android hits such as Dead Trigger and Shadowgun. Once upon a time, Madfinger Games teased a free-to-play online shooter called Deadzone. It was never actually released. Instead, it was put on the back shelf in favor of other priorities.

It appears as though the game may be finally nearing release. Madfinger Games posted a teaser image to their Facebook, indicating that there is some renewed interest in getting the game finished. Given the popularity of their other games, there is no reason to believe this won't achieve similar success. Plus, it's free. Who doesn't like free video games?

Deadzone was first brought to CES 2012, where many guests of the event were allowed to play the demo. It also came with a teaser video. There are more clues nestled around the internet of impending release. If you go to Madfinger Games' official website, Deadzone is listed in the coming soon section. There isn't any information about it, but they say that details will be posted soon.

Has Madfinger Games added any features since the CES demo?

If it has, Madfinger Games hasn't given any clues as to what has improved. It has been speculated that there could be some new levels and features. Since no one outside of Madfinger Games has seen Deadzone since January 2012, there's a very good chance those speculations are correct.

Madfinger Games may not be the most well known game developers out there, but their catelog has done quite well. They have gotten over a million downloads to date and a loyal following from their gamers. If Deadzone is released, it could bring a whole new demographic to play and buy Madfinger Games. When Deadzone is eventually released, does it look like a game you would play?
