Dead Trigger 2 for Android

The sequel of one of the most popular Android games of 2012 is finally available, as Madfinger Games has released the highly anticipated Dead Trigger 2 to the Play Store.

Available as a free download, Dead Trigger 2 puts you in the same first-person shooter universe that’s infested with zombies. You’ll have to “enter a world where humanity is engaged in the ultimate battle for survival, in the face of a global Zombie apocalypse.”

The most interesting feature of the game is the “real time story development” that’s affected by every Dead Trigger 2 player. In other words, everybody playing the game will join the Global Resistance, which means there are going to be some global missions to complete alongside the regular story missions.

The game promises improved graphics, “amazing new content” including new types of zombies, and a personal hideout where NPCs such as the Gunsmith, Medic, Scientist, Smuggler and Engineer will help with your quests.

Whether you have played the original game or not, you’ll surely enjoy shooting up zombies in this Madfinger Game creation – for more zombie-related action, we’ll also remind you that Plants vs Zombies 2 is out in the Google Play Store as well. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to check out our best zombie games collection here.

Dead Trigger 2 requires Ice Cream Sandwich or higher to run.

    I always liked dead trigger…
A sequel is awesome :-) but it’s not easy to play

The app just displays a black screen when opened, for me. CM 10.2 on Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3. I’ll try downloading again…

      Too slow GPU.

Weird that some phones are having major problems with the app like this. Apparently not all though. I wonder why two phones that are the same model would run it differently.

          • jusephe

            because of fragmentation

It works for me now. Installed again this morning. Their server must have been handing out bad downloads last night.

Do you have a custom kernel or a custom ROM?

    • Biavela

My husband’s S3, International version, can run it on low graphics, if set to high the game lags a lot.

Great news. Discovery of games has become a common phenomena today. The plethora of companies like adcolony or tapjay or appnext have also joined the fray, who have been constantly evolving newer games and apps

Not bad so far. I don’t like action games cause turning/aiming is awkward but find controls quite good so far. Lovely graphics on the Nexus 4, is it OpenGL 3.0-turboed?

Recently I was really, really low on cash and debts were eating me from all sides! That was UNTIL I decided to make money on the internet! I went to surveymoneymaker dot net, and started filling in surveys for cash, and surely I’ve been far more able to pay my bills! I’m so glad, I did this! – hryd
