These forums haven't even been officially announced yet ;) so yes pretty much everything here is in beta for now. Sorry about that!

I'd also be interested to know if you like the L5, btw @Ghostrecon55

I bought it a year ago.I can get a Xperia M or Moto G for that price now.Thankfully it has good development community to keep it interested.

I agree 100%. I have flashed a couple of great Roms only to have the deva give up on them and go elsewhere.
With HTC being Styx a great flagship device, there are several great Roms being developed & supported.

I'm not certain about any other variants, but if you own an AT&T Optimus G aka Geeb, you should give LiquidSmooth a good look. Paired with XboxFanJ's custom kernel, it flies in ways a first-gen quad core has no business flying. I won't be hankering for an upgrade until 64-bit processors with 42mbps+ LTE and PC-class GPUs become the norm.

Vanir+Commotio(also a great rom if you aren't gaga about the CM/Slim features) where you will find the aforementioned kernel

I prefer liquid smooth by itself. No custom kernels or anything like that. I've been running it on my s3 for a while now and it hives great battery life and performance is great. Its customization abilities have surpassed any other ROM I have tried as well.:)

Temasek's CM11 ROM on my note 3. This ROM cured my flashaholic tendencies. Lol! Rock solid for me. Now i'm afraid to leave the ROM since i might not be as satisfied with stability as a daily driver.

I admit that i never used the P.A myself, for some reason i always had bad luck while trying to install it (twice i had a power failure mid flash). i had cyano and didn't really like it, vanilla android is great, MiUi is also really nice. FlyMe was a bit of a let down, great idea but sadly quite useless if you are outside of china. so i would have to say that MiUi was probably my best overall experience with custom roms. (nothing beats vanilla!)

That's actually doable on some phones (called "dual booting"). The HTC HD2 is a master at it (People have triple booted, even quad booted into Android and non Android OS's) and I know one of the HTC EVOs could do it as well as the Galaxy S3.

Depends on how strong the device is in terms of aftermarket development.
