Let's compare the data speeds available from various carriers around the world, to see who is the quickest and which carriers to avoid if you're a hungry data consumer.

Remember to include your country, network, and connection type (2G/3G/LTE, etc), so that we can keep this a fair contest.

    Here's mine: UK, Giffgaff/O2, HSPA+

Been really, really impressed with them lately. HSPA+ was always around 8-10 and when LTE first came out it was around 18-20. Now I get 40. <3

I'm usually connecting thru LTE getting about 24mbps download, but I guess tonight I'm only on 3G/HSDPA+

Wow, @JoeHindy your LTE is faster than my broadband connection! The UK (or perhaps just my connection) sucks.... :(

Hell it's faster than my broadband connection too (especially the upload speed). I don't know how or why it happened but I'm glad it did. It's the first time I've ever felt comfortable leaving my phone off of WiFi all day long :D

Connection type: well, its a Moto G.... 3G

Now, before you judge, take a look through the history, 'peak' hours are not so hot.
(The history shows as WiFi, I was tethering through another phone, but it was the same SIM card/network/service as today's run.)

Holy hell dude, how many days did it take to post that reply? I've heard India is pretty bad with web connections (something like several hundred million on a 2G connection, right?).

Even though 3g and 4g are here it is a very bad situation.Crappy network infrastructure. You never get speeds as advertised or as the network standard specifies and the dataplans are ridiculous.Sometimes even opera mini fails to load the page in 2G.

Nice, but I do not even have to pay ANYTHING AT ALL for UNLIMITED data limit!:p Our broadbands have 2 networks(5G, 2.4G;all in different network names) in case one breaks down.
