    1. Hi, Jake. can you help me? My device Karbonn Sparkle V is not working. I tried to flash Stock Rom into it, but the phone is not getting connected to PC. PC shows USB not recognised. I even installed ADB, VCOM and CDC drivers in PC. Still nothimg happened. What can i do now?
      1. I'm sorry but I have never even heard of that device. The only thing I can recommend is to take it back to the retailer or the manufacturer and ask them to fix it for you.
    2. Hi jake
Would you mind look my question in instal official firmware thread?
      Thanks
      1. Check the thread now. :)
    3. Screen overlay problem evn after my factory reset...I use le1s.. Pls solve plzzzz
    4. Thank you Jake. However after it reaches 100% charging status, it's still very hot. I've done a backup and restore but still no success.
      1. You may want to replace the charger. As there is a chance that it's fauty. Or take it to a Samsung Service Center for repairs.
    5. I bought Galaxy S4 months ago. In settings>>about it says it is S4 i9500 while in Download mode it says its SHV-E300L. I just want to know that which lollipop rom should I install? Assuming that my device is SHV-E300L (because my phone specs match with E300L) can I install a rom with different PDA and CSC (but same model: SHV-E300L)?
My PDA and CSC Version: I9500ZSUDNF2
      Baseband: E300LKLUFNG2
      Active CSC: LGT/CHN

      2. Yes, you can as long as the model number of the firmware and device match. You will be fine. SHV-E300L is a updated version of the Galaxy S4, which runs on a Exynos SOC. It is a Korean exclusive release.
      3. okay man thanks a lot for quick reply. The update I am going to install has:
        Product code:LGT
        PDA :E300LKLUGPE2
        CSC:E300LLGTGPE2
They will have no effect right?
And my phone is rooted if I install this firmware will I get knox back?
      4. When you install this firmware update manually by connecting your device to your computer and using Odin. It should restore your device completely back to when it would have left the factory but with the latest firmware installed on it. Knox should also work too.
    6. Hi Jake,
This is about my Moto G2 as it got dead while updating the system. Admist I put it on charging, it jus blinked the light besides front camera but didnt start. I took it to repairing center but they told me to throw it into the dustbin. I really dont understand what to do now.. Plz suggest me what shud i do?
      1. Hmmm. You might have accidentally bricked your device. But I honestly don't think you did that. I'd try flash the stock firmware back onto your device. That should fix your problem. How long have you had your Moto G2 for anyway?
    7. Jake I have a Samsung galaxy A5 2016 I know it has a light censor where is it located in settings please help
      1. As far as adjusting the settings the only thing that can be adjusted is enabling the auto-brightness settings.
    8. Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus & did a factory reset with FRP enabled Tried to bypass Google FRP without OTG Used SideSync, bypass FRP apk, used Wi-Fi plugged in cable, Open with did not appear.Model # on back of phone SM-G928VZDA Cant locate firmware anywhere friend worked on it & flashed a unknown firmware using some Odin Ver, Its stuck in boot loop & I cant access Android System Recovery Screen
      1. I'd recommend you take your device to a Samsung Service Center and ask them to fix it for you. As there probably isn't much you can do if your device is on a boot loop.
    9. Jake, I did rooted my phone. Unrooted it, but it should not have prevented mw to install the updates. Good wifi connection cable modem and signal extender. Well, at least I have an option if I sell it. Contemplating not to get the replacement phone and keep the $25. towards the Note 6. And with not having a high quality dac in S7 models, I will add a OPPO HA-2 dac tethered to the new Note 6. Its a plan for me
      1. If you are contemplating on getting a new device this year. Then it would be a good idea to save the $25 for that instead.
    10. Jake, chatted with Motorola support. Based upon the steps I took to install the updates, they will replace the phone for $25.00. It's out of warranty which their offer is reasonable
      1. That's not bad! But I am surprised that you could not install all the updates via OTA on your device. :/
    11. Jake, I have a Motorola Moto G EXT 3G 2014. Purchased in Dec 2014. Inactive phone from Consumers Cellular. I use it for browsing and messaging with Skype and FB MESSENGER. Software is only Lollipop 5.0.2. Software are available on the phone is Android 6.0. I missed two updates because its been inactivate. Any solution available to update the phone without a carrier?
      1. You should be able to download all the updates including the ones you missed via OTA for your device. Using the Settings -> About Device menu.
