Am I the only person who wants to restore SOME (not all) history from their phone after formatting/ hard resetting it? (actually I think I want to finally try rooting it)

It's a Samsung S7. It's full (including the 128gb SD) and littered with messy folders in the storage, and battery never lasts a day, etc. I'd like to just fully refresh it, and remove the annoying "3" logo when it turns on, so just thought ahhh I'll try rooting finally (thought about it for years)

i set all the defaults to gboard so I dunno why it always asks me every time a keyboard pops up. very annoying. it pops up in the notification shade.

my Yoga Book tends to "loose" sensors after a while. This mostly happens when in sleep mode (the tablet, not I), but can also happen during charging, sometimes after half a day, sometimes after a few seconds. The following sensors are affected: Accelerometer (including auto rotation), light, magnetic field, orientation and GPS. The sound and battery sensors keep going.

Restarting the Book helps, but it is cumbersome to have to restart the tablet several times a day.

I have a Blu Vivo Xl from about a year ago. (purchased last year during summer). Around 5-6 months ago, the battery started deteriorating, and has been for a while.
