CyanogenMod 10.1 nightlies come to LG Nitro HD and Optimus LTE

Good news, serial flashers — if you’ve been waiting to get a taste of CyanogenMod 10.1, the team has announced on its Google+ page that the nightly builds of the popular Android 4.2-based custom ROM for the LG Nitro HD and Optimus LTE are now available to download.

Making the announcement even more special is the fact that the Nitro HD and Optimus LTE are the first two devices with Qualcomm MSM8660 processor to receive the nightlies.

As exciting as this sounds, it doesn’t mean that similar phones – like certain variants of the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note, as well as some HTC phones — will be getting the same treat immediately. Think of this achievement as a “great step forward”.

You can grab the CM10.1 nightly for the Nitro HD right here and the Optimus LTE here. As always, the nightlies will be accompanied by the odd bugs and glitches. If you’re down with that, flash away my friend.
